Assistance to Governments
Services to governments represent a very important part of ENVIROS activities. We provide governments with consulting services not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, etc. (see International Projects). In the Czech Republic we focus on a wide range of assistance services in energy and environmental policies development, energy and environmental legislation development, structural and accession policies evaluation, etc. The studies and analyses are often supported and funded by the EU or other international institutions.
International & Multi-country Projects
For more than 10 years the ENVIROS experts have been actively participating in a number of multi-country and international projects with partners from the European Union and Central and Eastern European Countries. Implemented projects include mainly those carried out within some of the EU programmes.
Climate Change, IPPC, Air Protection
Climate Change activities are closely related to the core business of ENVIROS and have been carried out for many years. They include assistance to climate protection strategy development, development of Kyoto mechanisms in the Czech Republic, evaluation of instruments and measures to be promoted, development of databases of greenhouse emissions, sensitivity analysis of electricity generating options on the CO2 production in the Czech Republic, calculations of emission factors for CO2 and of emissions of CO2 according to the methodology of IPPC.
Emission Trading
ENVIROS, s. r. o., is a leader in the Czech Republic in offering services related to greenhouse gas emissions management and emissions trading, GHG emissions management best practice and joint implementation and emissions trading services.
Regional & Municipal Studies
Activities in this field include mainly regional energy planning, development of emission reduction plans, climate protection programmes and air quality improvement programmes, and energy audits of the assets in the property of local and regional authorities. Many of the activities were enhanced by newly adopted energy and environmental legislation and by regional reforms and we assist regional and local governments in strategies and plans development and in implementation of action plans and introduction of energy management.
Market Research & Consultancy to Investors
Through a market research ENVIROS offers a valuable assistance to help businesses promote their goods and services. ENVIROS is familiar very well with the Czech market of products for centralised as well as distributed energy generation, transportation and end-use. Our new and growing field of activities is a market for utilisation of renewable energy sources and implementation of rational use of energy by means of advanced technologies.

Fuel Cells
Fuel cells are a very modern and promising technology. ENVIROS realised a Pilot project for the utilisation of fuel cells in the Czech Republic. The projects was supported by the Czech Energy Agency and developed with the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electric Power, Prague, where the fuel cells are located in a specialised laboratory.

Within this activity ENVIROS offers a large scale of services: development of feasibility studies, financial plans and analyses, market research, consultancy to energy performance services (EPC, EC, ESCOs), Private Public Partnerships (PPP), etc. ENVIROS helps organisations gain domestic subsidies and financial resources from structural funds.
Energy, Environmental & Macro-economic Data Modelling
ENVIROS experts are capable of creating and operating complex mathematics models of energy and environmental issues (using energy, environmental and other statistics), for instance they developed Energy Policy of the Czech Republic. The models are frequently used for various studies for administration bodies and within many international strategy projects and programmes.
