ENVIROS Student Prize 2005 was set on low energy social housing projects of students of higher classes of Faculty of Civil Engineering and Faculty of Architecture. The competition included two categories: building solution and architectural design. The projects were also submitted to the national Energy Project of the Year 2005 organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The prizes were presented on the ceremony in the Crib Chapel in Prague, Czech Republic, on 9 March 2006.
Architectural design and building solution of a family house meets the parameters of a passive building. The family house with workplaces for one household is placed on the bank of the „Cikan” Lake on the edge of Hradec Kralove City, Czech Republic.
The project was awarded by the MAIN PRIZE of the Energy Project of the Year 2005 in the category „Students Competition”. The project was also awarded by a tour around examples of low energy and passive buildings in a selected EU country. The tour was granted and will be organised by ENVIROS.

Architectural design and building solution of a family house meets the parameters of a passive building. The residential house with three overground floors – living space and one underground floor – garages and technical spaces, lies in Brno – Utechov, Czech Republic. The new object regards the temporary construction in the territory.
The project, complemented with a theoretical part aimed at passive buildings construction, was awarded by HONOURABLE RECOGNITION of the main jury of the Energy Project of the Year 2005 and by a tour around examples of low energy and passive buildings in a selected EU country presented by ENVIROS.
The project deals with a building solution of a wooden construction – low energy restaurant „At The Lake” in Prague 9 – Kolodeje, Czech Republic. The project addresses the life cycle of used materials and principals of low energy low cost housing in tertiary sector.
The project was included into the website due to promotion of ideas of low energy housing projects.
