Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) Project – „Indicators”

ENVIROS, s. r. o., together with the Czech Energy Agency, participaded in an Inteligent Energy for Europe project „Evaluation and Monitoring of Energy Efficiency in the New EU Member Countries and the EU-25 (EEE-NMC)” during the years 2006–2007. The project had two main goals:

• Update and further development of the database with internationally comparable energy efficiency indicators (ODYSSEE database – see http://www.odyssee-indicators.org/)
• Collecting standardized descriptions of measures supporting energy efficiency (database MURE – see http://www.isis-it.com/mure).

The Report (PDF, 677 kB) represents the case study of the Czech Republic elaborated within this project. It describes energy efficiency trends in the Czech Republic in the period 1990–2004 and presents various energy efficiency indicators from the ODYSSEE database. Further it gives an overview of energy efficiency policies and measures which have been uploaded to the MURE database. Results from a case study of households sector using simulation capabilities of the MURE tool are presented as well.
