Regional And Municipal Studies

ENVIROS activities in this field include mainly regional energy planning, development of emissions reduction plans, climate protection programmes and air quality improvement programmes, and energy audits of the assets in the property of local and regional authorities. Many of the activities became a point of higher interest due to newly adopted energy and environmental legislation and regional reforms. ENVIROS assists regional and local governments in development of strategies and plans and in implementation of action plans and energy management.

We also assist municipalities in project identification, feasibility studies development, promotion of Performance Contracting (district heating systems reconstruction, improved energy performance of buildings and facilities).

Measures to increase public awareness and promotional actions belong to a very important part of ENVIROS activites. We provide consultancy to the Czech Energy Agency (CEA) Network of Informational and Consulting Centres (located in Prague, Zlin and Svitavy) and with support of the CEA we organise a number of seminars, workshops and meetings to promote energy efficiency, renewables, energy management, environmental relations, etc. We co-operate with and actively support activities of local and regional energy agencies.
