The town of Meziboří in the Most region has been newly connected to the district heating system from the Komořany heating plant, ensuring continuity of heat supply. The connection was implemented as part of the “Expansion of TN Litvínov Phase I” project, which aims to increase the safety, reliability, and economy of heat supplies for households and public buildings in the town, while also supporting the decarbonization efforts of the regional heating system.
ENVIROS’s key role in securing project financing
ENVIROS, a leading consulting company in the field of energy, sustainability, and the environment and a member of the Komerční banka Group, prepared and submitted an application for support under the National Recovery Plan program – Modernization of heat distribution in district heating systems (1st call) and prepared an energy assessment. This demonstrated the energy and environmental benefits of the project and its compliance with the conditions of the call. The possibility of financing from subsidy sources directly for Severočeská teplárenská played a key role in the implementation of the project. The town of Meziboří itself did not have to worry about securing financing at all.
