ENVIROS has been a partner of the START2ACT project for more than three years, whose mission was to support young SMEs and start-ups and show them how to save energy and reduce energy costs – with simple no-cost or low-cost measures. To this end, mentoring sessions and other educational activities were conducted in nine European countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.

START2ACT aimed to raise awareness of the application of solutions that offer great potential for energy and financial savings, but are underused due to a lack of understanding of how to apply them in practice and a lack of engagement of people to change their behaviour in their daily lives. Another objective was to develop sustainable ways of purchasing equipment, office equipment, goods and services that significantly affect the operating costs of businesses.
