As part of the HERCULES project, a meeting with representatives of local municipalities was held on September 4, 2025, at the Municipal Office in Stěžery. The main topics of the meeting were:
1. establishing an energy community and choosing its most suitable legal form,
2. financing options for the energy community.
Pavel Skalník from ENVIROS presented the approach to financing community energy from the perspective of the banking sector. He emphasized the importance of high-quality project preparation, which will gain the trust of investors already in the preparation phase and will be compatible with financing from both private and public sources. He also mentioned the risks associated with equity, the economic model, and loan collateral. He recommended approaching the energy community proposal very soberly and realistically, especially in the initial phase.
Pavel Skalník also announced that ENVIROS would prepare a draft framework model of costs and revenues for the planned energy community, which would then be presented and discussed at the next meeting.
